TitleTrader

These are my first two receipts since joining TitleTrader. If you have books sitting around that you don't want, you can list them on this site. Once an item is requested by another member, you mail the book to them at the media rate and you earn a point to choose another book!

Hi Rachel! I'm so happy that you're blogging! I can't wait to hear more about Maine and everything you've been up to!

Life has been really good. I'm staring a new job this month - my first job outside the house in more than three years! And I'm dating an amazing guy. His name is Ross. He is originally from North Carolina, but is out here working as an artist for a Chicago based video game company. We'll have been together a year this June.

Title Trader sounds great, but it wouldn't work for a book horder like me ;P

Have you read The Secret Life of Bees yet? I want to read that one. I've read little bits of Sue Monk Kidds non-fiction and I liked what I read.

Now that I know I might be getting visits from you I'll try to post more than just Doctor Who videos and Willow news ;)

The new glasses look really cool, btw!

Kim - Thanks for visiting! I haven't read Secret Life of Bees yet, but I just stared it. I'll let you know how i like it.

So, what is your new job? That's exciting! I'm also eager to hear more about Ross.

Is there a new Dr. Who? All I know is the guy with the crazy scarf that my dad used to watch late on Saturday nights.

The job is going to be here in Elgin at the Verizon Wireless Call Center. I'm going to be a customer service rep. I have a friend who works there and she has had nothing but good things to say, so I have high hopes. I'll have to update you once I start.

I'm always happy to talk about Ross! I met him on-line last May and a couple of weeks later we started dating. He's super sweet and charming. He was born in Baton Rouge and raised in Raleigh, NC. He will occasional say "y'all," to my infinite delight. He went to school at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he got Bachelor's of Fine Arts and a Bachelor's of Religious Studies.

He moved to Chicago about a year and a half ago to work for Midway. Right now he's working on a video game called Stranglehold that could (in my expert opinion ;) be the coolest video game of the year. And he's an excellent musician! He's a great drummer and plays for the 20-something ministry at his church, and I think he plays the guitar really well too. He's pretty freaking dazzling, to tell you the truth :P

There is a new Doctor Who! The series picked up again a couple of years ago and now we're in the third season of the new run. I've never seen the old ones, but people say that these ones are the best ones since the Tom Baker days (crazy scarf guy) so your dad might like it. Ross and I are also into Battlestar Galactica - we're just a couple of geeks!
